2011: A Review The Polls, Part 2

2011 was...

  1. Article image
    Fame! Only took fourteen years!
... the year Mojo finally was quoted on a box! A Monkey Island box at that! (37.50%)
  2. ... a complete letdown as far as (Mojo covered) games went. (25.00%)
  3. ... a year where we saw multiple releases from Double Fine, which was great. (21.88%)
  4. ... awesome! Those Universal games were the bomb! (9.38%)
  5. ... the year of "polish". (6.25%)

Kind of interesting that less than 10% of you thought the Universal games were worthwhile, when so many more voted Back to the Future as best game. But who am I to quibble? At least people love seeing Mojo's name out there!

Biggest bummer

  1. Telltale's games seeming increasingly rushed and bugged. (47.22%)
  2. LEC sliding straight back to their old aughties ways. (36.11%)
  3. Telltale reviewing their own games; loving them (11.11%)
  4. MojoX still not being done. (Sorry!) (2.78%)
  5. No new Bill Tiller game (2.78%)
  6. Mojo not reviewing games on time ever if at all. (Sorry!) (0%)

Look, Telltale, we like you just fine, we all do, but could you please please make this easier for us? Just take some more time. Polish up those games. We love it when you release The Devil's Playhouses and Puzzle Agents and Tales of Monkey Islands. We just don't like deeply flawed games. Don't turn into the number two on this list. Let our lovefest with you recommence! And then everything will be so so good again.
