You've all probably been too busy playing Sam & Max to notice that 1UP has gotten some information about Double Fine's new game. And it is -- drum roll -- a multiplayer action game! Maybe. Allegedly. Possibly.

See, they don't have any actual true information to base it one, so read and judge for yourself.

    On the Doublefine website job page, it says they are looking for a Technical director and Senior Tools programmer. It also says that a plus for someone applying for these positions is being an "Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-quality games, particularly multiplayer online games."

    I have this crazy theory that hes working on the next larry game. That could possibly include a "score" system, and change that Softporn post from an oldskool joke into a subtle hint about whats next. I think Magna C** laude got too much flak, sure its not a classic adventure, but its certainly funny enough. Plus it was nice to have an M or AO game that isnt only about gorey murder :)

    I honestly see absolutely nothing from Schafer's quotes that even hints multiplayer. I'm not saying it won't be, but where is 1up seeing this?
