(Updated) Law & Order: Legacies is coming out. What do you mean you don't care? 26 Dec, 2011 / 12 comments

But no, seriously, it doesn't look too bad, actually. Check out TTG's write-up, and learn that it's hitting iOS first -- as an universal app, which is nice -- before making its way to PC and Mac.

There's even a video!

That's a shame Rum Rogers (it's very cool to be able to call someone Rum Rogers). They released the Devil's Playhouse right after Tales, and it's not only the best game Telltale has made so far, but it's one of my all-time favorite adventure games!

I've heard about it, they say it's a really good game. I should give it a try, thx for the info. :)

As for this one: it's Law & Order. Don't care for the tv show, not my thing. I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode on youtube, and it's looks sort of fun, but I can't imagine this being engaging over all 7 episodes. I guess I'll try the demo when it hits, like others here, I've never been dissapointed enough by Telltale to stop buying their games. Always had a good time playing them (except for the Hector episodes, although those aren't really Telltale games to begin with).

Would you guys recommend this to someone who's a fan of Capcom's Ace Attorney series, but has never seen Law & Order?

I have never played Ace Attorney nor have I watched a single episode of Law & Order, but half an hour in I've found Legacies to be pretty good for what it is.

So far the plot is pretty much on rails -- meaning you have no control over locations you visit -- but choices you make while interrogating and investigating apparently directly impacts the storyline.

Again, I've only played it for half an hour, and while it's not the most amazing gaming experience ever, it's still an entertaining casual little time-waster. Worth the pricetag in my opinion.

I've dumped TTG immediately after Tales, which was awesome anyway. I've read all their latest games are rushed and low in quality. No repent.

I have to say that initially I wasn't the least bit interested, but having seen a bit of the game play I'm intrigued. Probably pick it up on a Telltale sale down the track though.

No attachment to the franchise, but the same is true of CSI and I've found those games enjoyable enough. Simply put I can't summon enough blind hate to make this the first Telltale game I don't buy.

I think I'll enjoy it, but my wife may like it even more.

I don't think the "casual gamer" doesn't want to think.. or actually play a game.. I think this looks good though.. I'm gonna get it. As someone who watched the first 10 years of law & order but not the last 10..it has the characters in it that I'd be interesting in playing.

Well, I have no knowledge of the franchise and the bit where they said "You don't have to be a gamer" made me remember the Universal games, so I'm skipping. I do like the art, though. Should be similar to what they're doing with The Walking Dead.

I couldn't care less about the franchise, but the game looks pretty entertaining to me. Interesting graphics style too.

Third TTG game I skip in a row, now. Hmm!
