The game's already out, but I assume most of you haven't bought it yet, which is why this gameplay trailer for Mata Hari may be of some use to you. It's quite brief, and the soundtrack is like fake Super Mario 64 desert music, but, hey.

    Watching some gameplay vids on youtube, I'm curious to play it. Anyone checked it out and have some thoughts on it?

    I enjoyed the game, but mostly in an academic way. There's some interesting ideas in terms of how the game was designed but there's an equal measure of bad ones.

    The story starts off pretty bland, gets fairly interesting towards the end and then reverts to blandness for the finale.

    Ah, AdventureGamers. That special place where the worst thing about Grim Fandango is the music, and Escape from Monkey Island is better than Curse.

    At least it isn't Just Adventure, the magical place where Limbo of the Lost gets a better score than LeChuck's Revenge.

    Different reviewers sure, but that's pretty damn outrageous.
