The International House of Mojo! 15 Aug, 2002, 23:09 / 10 comments

LucasArts has updated their 20th Anniversary page with another scan of some original background artwork from Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. What's the locale? This time it's the Voodoo Lady's house, AKA The International House of Mojo. Booyah!

Take a look at it here, or click the image at the bottom of this post. This is the second Monkey 2 image LucasArts has put on the site. The first one, Captain Dread's map, is here. Fun times!

I'd like to see much more of these original concept works from their games. I also think it's amazing that LEC actually updated to their "friday update commitment" earlier than usual this time. Good job! We're not on the brink of Saturday.

If they have all these scans, why not make a special edition of MI2 with better graphics.

That would be a neat 20th Aniversary present to us...

Yeah it would be neat but I dont think their up to that sort of challenge anymore.
maybe if some guy got hold of all the concept art he could make his own MI2 (then get sued by LucasArts? if he ever releases it on the internet)

yeah, besides we already have an MI2, its good enough. A legacy artbook with all kinds of concept arts and some interviews with artists and lead programmers from all grim fandango and earlier games would rock tho

They'd have to redraw all the characters and inventory items and stuff.

Maybe they could put it on a set of Ecards.

Wow, amazing. Lucasarts should release all of the original artwork scans from MI2.

Someone should make a useless petition asking for an art book. I'd buy it.
