Yes, yes, yes, I know, CSI:Hard Evidence got there first. But downloadable Telltale games via Nintendo's WiiWare service? That's news!

Unfortunately this isn't Sam & Max, according to Telltale. Will it be one of their mysterious new licenses? Or will it just be more CSI? Stay tuned!

does wiiware still have restrictions on the size of files you can download? I wonder what kind of game they could create with such limited space

I don't remember reading about any file size limitations with the downloads - the issue is with the limited Wii memory itself. There's always SD cards, and it wouldn't surprise me if that rumored external Wii hard drive get released at some point.

Yeah, Wii only has a small amount of space and can't play off SD cards, so you have to keep swapping between games.

Wonder if it'll be exclusively on Wiiware?

    Wired.com

"Today's news brings the first details on U.S. game titles for WiiWare. As I'd hoped, Nintendo is bringing in indie developers from right here in America. Most notably, Sam & Max creators Telltale Games will be producing a new episodic game series for the service."

Not to say the titles won't end up at retail eventually, but...

My guess at the 2 new licenses...

    CSI: Maimi (for Wii)

    CSI: New York (for PC)

Didn't they say all ready that it isn't a new license, but an existing one? :/ I'm confused.

New license = it's new for us. Not necessarily a license no one has ever seen before.
