Telltale announces Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People! 10 Apr, 2008, 15:54 / 19 comments

Today Telltale has revealed its first of two previously unannounced licenses. Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, based on the popular characters and flash toons that make up the universe of Homestar Runner, will be released on WiiWare this June in addition to the PC. This five episode series will be released on a monthly schedule similar to Sam & Max. So far no details (such as the actual schedule or price point) or media have been released, but at least a few of these things should be rectified on Telltale's site later today at their Strongbad page.

So, how awesome is that? Check out the press release. And if you haven't heard of Homestar Runner (and that's seriously a crying shame), you could do worse than heading over there right now and checking out Peasant's Quest, and everything else.

    At first when i read this story i my feelings were "Cool!...What is it?" i then checked the link and was initially turned off by the homestar character thinking he was the focus, after clicking the "First time here" button though i learned how wrong i was. i spent the next few hours watching the strong bad e-mails and laughing like crazy :) Im definatly looking forward to the game, the trailer was a gas as well :)

    Thanks Telltale :) not only for another game to look forward to but introducing me to something i was definately missing out on :)

    no idea what it is sorry.. I thought they would have been launching a larger IP for the wii than something internet related.. internet audiences aren't that big -see snakes on a plane
