Telltale and new Monkey Island season speculation reaches dubious levels 11 Feb, 2011 / 6 comments

Put this one firmly in the "Beyond Speculation" column:

A reader who shall remain anonymous points out that Dom's usually timely Top Chef postings were recently delayed because of "work." The last time this happened? Apparently a while before the Tales of Monkey Island announcement. Dam dam dam!

I suppose we'll find out next week if this is true or not.

Or maybe it's just part of... Image

    Yeah I just consider it a plain lack of due diligence whenever they leave the "Little Touches" section out of the design document.


    I mean stuff like the MI2 throwback, Morgan's animation in the background, the way Guybrush glances at Morgan when she suggests slaughter, and the 10 000 grubs. I love that stuff.

    It could be for Guybrush for Poker Night at the Inventory 2?
    It could be busy for Tales 2 (maybe only for a trailer released on the 17th Feb.)?

    All these mysterious happenings will be solved next week. Maybe.

    Being the devil's advocate here, but Dom does not exclusively voice Monkey Island games, he does other VO's. But yeah, beyond speculation indeed, only six more days to go!
