(Granted, that might not have been a verbatim quote.)
But! Gary Whitta, writer of episode four? three? an episode of The Walking Dead did say more content will appear before season two is released. What does that mean? An expansion pack? Facebook game? Who knows?! But it's clear Telltale isn't quite ready to let go of this success story quite yet.

My ideal season stars Clem as the playable lead, set about 8 years after Lee's death, with returning characters such as Lily, who must prove she deserves forgiveness for the death of either Carly or Doug; and Omar & Krista return as well, with their young son Arin, born shortly after the Season 1 finale and now about Clem's age when she first met Lee. Arin's now the gel to hold the group together, and the prime character worth staying alive for to save, just like Clem was.
Omar is bitten early on, and someone will have to kill him before he turns, possibly as a horde approaches and there's no time for a proper goodbye, and Krista must now make the choice to keep going for Arin and Clem.
Also we could have a scene where Krista is also bitten, but going by the precedent set on the show where they saved Herschel via amputation, she is saved. Makes you fear for another devastating loss for Clem, Arin and the others (obviously S02 should have some new cast members, maybe a love interest for Clem, but that's not a necessity and should be handled with typical Telltale maturity and aplomb) but then Krista lives on since they halt the progress of the virus sooner than they did with Lee.... and Krista comes to terms with Omar's death, etc.
