LucasArts/ LucasLearning have launched a funky new flash site for Super Bombad Racing (due out very soon). The site details a lot more of the power ups and playing style, has new screenshots and a trailer to stream. Check it out at SuperBombad.com

    I'm wondering if ANYONE is really looking forward to this game. The whole kart game thing was over a year ago. It could possibly be a good distraction for a few hours, but it will never provide the joy I experienced in my first playing of Secret of Monkey Island, their first incredible game.

    Yeah I'm on a university connection, multiple T1's going out, and it took quite a while even for me to load the bombad site. That's silly considering how simple the site is. An HTML alternative for people with (gasp!) 56k modems would be a good move. I was impressed with the gameplay avi though. The graphics and various effects in bombad look better than I expected. It could be a fun kart game, you never know!

    More Flash crap. Nrrg. I thought their poll question asked "Do you have Flash INSTALLED on your browser?", not "Do you actually LIKE waiting half an hour to view a site that would be just as good (crap) in HTML?"
