Theforce.net reports confirmation of the long rumoured 'Star Wars live action TV series' (though no official announcements or press releases are yet forthcoming directly from LucasFilm).

Those hoping that the end of Star Wars movies next May would result in a reduction of LucasArts' dependence on games set in that Galaxy Far, Far Away may need to rethink.

    Still, when it comes down to it, Star Wars is actually great - and a TV series of the escapades of a Han Solo-esque character wouldn't be bad at all.

    That said, the young Indiana Jones series weren't so great.
