every1's been comparing this one to metroid prime ... i dont see why. i'd compare it to doom (except that doom was great) ... metroid is SO much deeper than this. although the "darker" side of star wars does seem interesting, no s&m2=no more star wars games for me

Very funny :-D. Due to recent Lucas events, i am not going to buy the game until it releases in "classic collection". That will teach them to consider marketing only.
But it outlooks not so bad I admit...

I still say the LucasKarts game will sell like hotcakes.

One thing is certain, it will surely have no adventure game characters because of some underlying economic situations they management considered.

And I was looking forward to riding the Bone Wagon around Cocytus, or racing Boston Low in his blue spherical tram across the area from the DOTT intro whilst driving the DeSoto through a barn. And what about Ben riding through the gates of hell from Monkey Island whilst overtaking Zak McKracken and Guybrush Threepwood?

If Amazon Queen had been a LucasArts game (and it nearly was) that would have been interesting as well.

wow, this game is going to shift millions. Its so much more diverse than the game they stole the orginal title from as it contains star wars characters. I mean of the current market place realities and underlying economic considerations show that a FPS will sell very well in the already saturated market for them.
