The International House of Mojo

Wow. You guys honestly thought it was good? I thought it was awful. One of the worst games Telltale has put out so far, in fact, in abject contrast to the very enjoyable Launch.

Yeah, I didn't mean for the site as such, just in general. Maybe post it to a forum or something.

Essentially, for me it boils down to the lack of fictional peril, the characterisation of Guybrush and the iffy, upside-down puzzle design. All three are intimately connected.

Haven't finished the episode yet, but I have to say it's more enjoyable than the first. The objectives this time are more enjoyable (at least to me) and engaging from a story standpoint, rather than fiddling with statues to effect winds. The interaction between Guybrush and Elaine is perfect, and it's something I felt cheated out of in CMI and not fully realized in EMI. It is quite charming here. Morgan LeFlay is awesome - a Guybrush fangirl, who would have thought?

Just finished this game and absolutely loved it! Laughed a lot during the whole thing and was in awe of some of the amazing environments and artwork. The new characters were very cool and had many funny quotes throughout the game. We are once again left with a massive cliffhanger that will have you eagerly awaiting 'Lair of the Leviathan' to find out what happens next. I definitely give this episode (like the first) a 5/5!

Why doesn't Telltale re-use models for the Wii version, but make new ones for the PC version? Or at least do something like they did with the Bone games?

Wow, that was great review Kroms. Great game too, I heartily agree (was I ever going to heartily disagree?).

As for memorable moments, the final line (or word) before the credits will live with me all my life.

Also:
"Let's see what happens when I... take your mask off!!"

Actually, there are lots of very memorable lines. The humor is much better than in episode 1. It's up there with the classic MI games.

I liked all the little references to previous Monkey Island games. Especially when Guybrush whistles a certain tune for "no apparent reason"...

I like the idea that Guybrush somehow is familiar with the non-diagetic music from his past adventures.
