Slack could be pretty cool, honestly. I like the idea of separate channels and being able to search threads...not much experience with Discord but it always seems to be a mess whenever I use it

Maybe you could create an invitation link? What you commented before looks like the normal link to the server like copied from the link bar in the browser but I can't access it because I am not a member. I think there's a specific invitation link necessary. Wouldya create one? :D

Yeah I'm having trouble linking to it now because i can't seem to find it in a search and I think the url is different now that I've joined/logged in.

I kind of can't do anything regarding that server... I'm completely new to discord so I might be painfully n00by right there, but when I click on the link that has been kindly provided by the Call Me Squinky, and being logged into Discord in another tab, Discord hits me with "No text channels. You find yourself in a strange place. You don't have access to any text channels in this server, or there are none." And I can't click on anything regarding that server because there is no button for anything, just this message displayed.

Now what am I supposed to do? (read that in Edgar Teglee's voice, didn'tya.)

Help me and also don't crucify me for my n00bity.

There is indeed a Slack thing, and the idea was to use it as the official forum replacement for both our hoards and hoards of readers alongside staff. This idea has become . . . stagnant . . . which of course is very unlike Mojo*.

This is why we’re looking at the forums again, which, from what I’ve heard, Zaarin will have up any day now**!

The Slack is a staff thing. The Discord I don't know anything about.

There's a Discord? There's not a single mention of it anywhere on this site. Next you'll tell me the Slack mentioned in the previous article is a real thing that will be happening.

This is unrelated to the topic at hand, but is there any news on the "possible re-opening of the forums" front?

I'm trying to get some discussion started in the Discord but sadly not enough people are active there.
