Pre-Order That One Film about that Jedi 14 Oct, 2002 / Comments: 16

I was going to update with some "exciting" news but it turned out to be really widely know and boring... but I've done it now so... have it. The stores are now taking pre orders for the greatest Jedi film of the last 3 or so years!

Episode II attack of the [funny pun] both VHS and DVD are available to pay for and then get delivered to you a few weeks later... By which point you don't even remember any more and its really exciting, 'cause you get a call from work, and they are all like:

"There is a package for you here,"

And you go, "I don't remember ordering a pack.. wait.. is it from Toys R Us?"

"Well yeah... it is actually."

"... w00000000t"

....and so on so forth. So that's Star Wars Episode II, UK release date Nov 11th 2002, available for pre order now, and in the US, Nov 12th (my birthday) also available now and you can get it in other places besides Amazon funnily enough.

Hi guys. You havent heard from me for quite a while. I heard that one big change in the video and DVD release of Episode II? would be that Natalie Portman's nipples wouldnt be poking through her clothes (I read it in a newspaper). You may think i'm a sick freak (arent we all?) and youre (probably) right.

Don't you mean it was your "favouritely part" of the whole movie?
  • Kingzjester on 16 Oct, 2002, 10:27…
No, that would be "I enjoyed that part of the movie most favouritly"

Wow - I thought amazon doesn't have many of these hard-to-get arthouse films ... how many dvds of this piece of art have been made? 50?

well, i'll go and check our public library - i was told they have a lot of these clever independent movies.

So, you're saying that "likewisely" is an actual word?
  • spaff on 15 Oct, 2002, 21:33…
no... thats hardly the same =)

  • Gabez on 16 Oct, 2002, 16:10…
    I think it's a British thing. :)
  • The_Petrified_Monkey on 17 Oct, 2002, 10:55…
Indeed it is! We are but a variety on here... Well, maybe not. Funnily enough, some British ways of saying things are a bit different.

Just like you Americans and your "leisure, data and aluminium"... That wasn't a dig, btw :-)
