PC Gamer Scans 01 Sep, 2002 / Comments: 19

In addition to our previous report of the PC Gamer feature concerning Full Throttle 2 and Larry Holland's upcoming game, we have obtained two scans from the article. First, you'll find a nice shot of Ben standing in what seems to be a 3D rendered environment. Secondly, you can see this somewhat crude scan of Larry Holland's new World War II flight action game. Be sure to buy the new PC Gamer issue to read the full interviews and gaze at two more teaser images.

This is also in PCGamer UK edition, and the picture you show of Ben in a 3d world is slightly larger with more to the right. Unfortunatley, though, this has another picture in front of it, so the bottom right is covered by another picture. There is still more detail than in the US version pic, though.

    Oh no, I hope they don't do a mixture of pre-rendered and fully 3D backgrounds like EMI - some of those did NOT work out well! Did anyone else have difficulty with the Marshes???

    What's BS3 please?

    The BS3 characters look a lot more realistic than in FT2. Then why do you associate FT2 with the doom/quake style?

    Yeah, I'd prefer the BS3 style instead of that awful quake-ish/doom-ish style. It's really awful!

    It looks more like Quake, doom or any PC-shooter. :(

    They haven't done a good job as they could in 3D... Look at Broken Sword 3 for example, that's quality!
    I just mean he could be worked on better, as well as the scenes:/

    EYES? it's full throttle! there are no Eyes involved (unless it's absolutely necessary).

    One thing I loved about full throttle is that everyone was squinting :)

    Arrrg!! Is the game in 3D totally? The game haven't pre-rendered-backgrounds? I believe that the game is in fully 3D, look at the floor and the backgrounds in the photo.
