One Vampyre Story website is not enough 15 Feb, 2007 / Comments: 7

While we're all off at the Autumn Moon site's A Vampyre Story section daily looking for new images and blog entries, we'll now have to peruse not one, but two new official sites for the game.

vampyre-story.com looks to be a product of publishers Crimson Cow and Focus, and has English plus French language options. It has a gallery with what may be a previously unseen image ("Vlad's Landing" poster) and a brand new messageboard.

avampyrestory-game.com is a one page teaser by Crimson Cow and while there's no real content yet, the teaser image does have the delicious by-line;

The Graphic Adventure isn't Dead... It's Undead!.

    Is it just me or is the artwork for AVS getting slightly worse. The backgrounds look really really great but the characters are starting to look a bit rushed, I don't know if I'm being a bit picky but the Valentines day card for instance... it all looked a bit weird.

    I don't think so... the recent pictures we've seen have a hand drawn look, but that's good, and it won't be in the game like that anyway (I should think).

    I wonder why the flurry of activity all of a sudden? To attract further investors, or could the game be ahead of schedule?

    I guess you can never reserve a web domain too early... After all, both sites are rather placeholders at the moment.

    Hmm, I wonder if too many official sites and too many official forums won't get confusing.

    On the other hand, that's why we have sites like mojo. We expect you to monitor all of them ;)

    On the Valetines Day picture it says A Vampyre Story: 2007. Fingers crossed for a Halloween release then. ;

    Yes, it says that on a tombstone. Please don't let that be an omen.

    We can only hope. I've been looking forward to this one for quite some time.
