Fantastic stuff! I've always found it interesting that this close up version of LeChuck is a bit stocky, whereas his in-game sprite and the cover art are more thin and lean.

Quality tomb-raiding. What strikes me about the deleted infrastructure beneath Phatt Island is how compatible it feels with the subterranean mechanical room in Escape that is revealed to be part of the innards of the monkey robot. Though it may have been a space-related substitution, the ultimate use of the Dinky Island tunnels ends up functioning as a nifty bit of foreshadowing.

I wonder if the Voodoo Priest would have factored somehow into the cut voodoo room in LeChuck's Fortress. As things stand now, he/she remains on the most enigmatic characters, albeit one that was almost reprised via Larry Ahern and Jonathan Ackley's early story concept for Curse.
