When asked about the recently announced title of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Obi-Wan actor Ewan McGregor told reporters that he thought it was "a terrible, terrible title." And so it begins...
Can someone tell me why Ep.1 sucked so badly? It was your own fault you were disappointed, because of your expectations. You would've been disappointed anyway.

Goofy title or not, everyone's still probably going to see it at the theaters multiple times, and it's still probably going to be better than most of the movies we've been getting.

True... There's a reason why indie movies like Memento and Made have done well this summer. Most Hollywood movies have been pretty bad.

Odd that he would make such a comment when he's going to work with George Lucas on SW III soon...

Heh, Ewan had some sour comments before Ep. I also. Lucas just laughed at them.

Do you really think that George Lucas gives a shit if an actor says one negative comment? I think not.

I sorta doubt the LucasFilm empire will crumble because of a bad title...

I like the way you judge the movie before you've even seen it...:)

I agree - if it wasn't for CGI, episode I would have sucked so badly that GL would probably have to have cast Pauley Shore as the young Anakin in order to even get folks halfway interested in seeing Ep. 2... In my opinion, we have already seen "Attack Of The Clones" - On Naboo, when 5,000,000,000 battle droids all move at the same time, same direction, and you see so many looped animations that it's not even funny, you can't help but wonder what genius decided that drawing/animating one battle droid and then telling the computer to clone that one droid 4,999,999,999 more times was an OK thing. The way I see it, based on this logic, GL is telling us that Ep. 2 will be the "same shit...different actors..."
