More Vampyre screenshots released 29 May, 2007 / Comments: 8

They just won't stop! These five come from German site PC Games Online:

- Mona talking to some gypsy lady
- Mona in the castle (maybe?)
- Mona and Froderick studying a map
- Mona examining a mirror
- Mona checking out a horse

It's like, just when you thought the game couldn't look any more gorgeous, this happens.

Wow, this game really looks amazing, and I bet it'll look a lot better in motion. It even has a good, classic inventory system like Curse did, and I haven't seen a good one since... well, Curse. Let's face it, Grim's inventory system wasn't the game's best part.

As for Vampyre Story, let's hope the voice acting, music and puzzles (and the rest of the game really) are as good as those screenshots are gorgeous! If it is, it's bound to be a classic game.

Wow. It's really come a long way since those first Curse of Monkey Island-style screenshots.

I don't have anything witty to say, so I'll just say that I can't wait for this one... as I've said before...

    Yeah, sorry to disappoint.

The car boot on the horse is a nice touch.

LOL. I thought you meant a Car Trunk (which we call a 'boot'), went to double check the picture to see what the hell you were talking about.

    American 'english'. Heh.

Same here. I was expecting to see the horse's back open like a car trunk.

This game does look pretty. But it has been in development since the Dark Ages. When is it finally coming out?

It seems like this question gets asked a lot, even though the answer is readily available. The release is by the end of 2007 - this has been said since it was officially announced last summer.

Also, while the game has been worked on on and off since 2002 by as little as one person, I don't think we can count any of that as active development until Autumn Moon got its publisher. The game hasn't been in paid development for even a year.
