People looking for excuses not to play Stacking are not exactly in a buyer's market right now, which is going to make this big Gamasutra feature about the game that much more devastating to their prospects.
Read the five page spread to get all of Tim and Lee Petty's thoughts on Stacking, Costume Quest, the downloadable space, the very active legacy of adventure games, and a bit, if not nearly enough, about farting's importance in puzzle mechanics.
Is it ever really enough, though?

...it's not on PC?

Don't find them annoying at all, and think they have excellent video and podcast content as well as some very fair reviewing.
I think their text reviews are fair, but their videos and Quick Looks have that horrible banter I can't stand.

A week ago I cleared everything but them and RPS out. I like RPS because they pick up on smaller games. Giant Bomb quick looks are worth looking up, but I find them so annoying I just look at the titles and then Google the games themselves.
Really? I think Giant Bomb is the best general gaming (as opposed to game development) website out there. Don't find them annoying at all, and think they have excellent video and podcast content as well as some very fair reviewing.
Also, in case anyone is interested, ActionCast #2 - named "The Stackening" - is now up on Double Fine's site.

The interviews it links to (Schafer's explanations of Amnesia Fortnights and whatnot) are most certainly worth a read if you've missed them the first time around (these days Gamasutra is the only video-game related publication I have in my Reader).
