Look man, here are your keys, alright? 22 Sep, 2004, 13:13 / 9 comments

Despite Earth's so-so opinion of the G4 gaming TV station, you have to like them a little more when they do an offbeat live interpretation of the bar confrontation scene from Full Throttle.* Check it out, in high or low quality Windows Media format. Thanks to Greg from LucasFiles for pointing this out.

* Even if it's not all that funny.

ugg that was atrocious. and why didnt comcast just leave them as the 2 very different channels they are and just allow both on their subscription list? it would be like MTV and Nickelodeon merging.

Because Comcast didn't own Tech TV prior to the merger, and they decided that they didn't want any competition. That's media consolidation for you.

I never got Tech TV near me, so I don't really know what it was like, but that clip pretty well represents the entire G4 experience. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch G4. That's neither a joke, or an exaggeration.

TechTV was really a great station before G4 got its ugly claws on it. It should tell you something that all the "big names" from the station definitely abandoned ship shortly after the G4 takeover (Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, etc.). I really hate what they've done with the station now.

I feel just like Lister from Red Dwarf after he saw Winnie the Pooh being shot, because "That's something no one should ever have to see".

Love Full Throttle. That guy with the laptop seemd to think for real FT is a cool game, but did he have 20 minutes of prep-time to pull it off? Cause ditto what bgbennyboy said.

My eyes, they burn. That was quite horrendous.
