LEC Quick and Easy 3.0 03 Apr, 2002 / Comments: 16

bgbennyboy has released version 3.0 of LEC Quick and Easy, a utility that lets you run old LucasArts graphic adventures with original sound functionality. This new version adds support for The Dig, Monkey Island 1, and has fixes for various other issues. Of course, like always, you must have VDMSound installed for this to work. Enjoy!

i have an original gamebox (not white label but that shouldn't make any difference or what?). is my problem about my graphic drivers? i have nvidia geforce 2mx with newest un-official drivers and i'm using clean installed win2000pro.

Is there someway you could include VDMsound with the next realease? Seems like it might solve some problems.

Well I could but it would add another mb onto the download, it might annoy those who already have it and id face annoying questions about "how to install msi files"........

This is one of those coincidences that make me think there is no need for God -- in a positive way, you know -- that he wasn't really necessary for the criminally low chances of creation of life in the primeval stew; that unrelated s*it just happens and it has only chance/luck to blame... I started MI2 day before yesterday and heard only ear-piercing internal speaker static from my lovable, cuddly Win 2000... I thought I could solve it myself, but after three hours of messing with everything I could fathom to be wrong, from cables inside the computer (that worked, it turned off the monster at least) to control panel and driver settings... Alas, to no avail. I was so angry at the dumb machine at 2 in the morning that I couldn't sleep and had to listen to some The Who to relax, hoping that the damn thing won't fool me again...

Day later, I hook myself up to Mojo and see your post. That was followed by this absurd feeling of happiness, like of a kid when his Rube Goldberg Lego machine works... I feel like a big, hilarious moron... Well, your thingamajig is the second most useful program I ever used!

    Right then.
Before anyone complains about this not working make sure you have:
1:Selected the vdmsrun file in the options and click the vdmcopyfiles button
2:Set the path for the game in the options
3:If you have a problem look in the Q+E.bat in the game folder and show me what it says so I know whats going on.
