Continuing our comprehensive coverage of Monday Money Madness? (yawn), The PR Newswire has released this report from Activision on the success of Raven's recent titles. Of course, Jedi Outcast was a major part of this, and here's what the article had to say about all that:

They stopped support for it already?!?!
Sounds weird for a game that has just be released, doesn't it?
But it seems pretty true.
There are loads of problems to the game's multiplayer part in its current state. Imbalances, bugs, exploits. Lots of them, really.
The community has been *begging* for another patch for weeks now.... nothing!
The rather tight-lipped comments from the developers (Raven) imply, that they simply *can't* do anything without LucasArts letting them do, which sounds true if one thinks of how LEC normally handles their precious licenses, doesn't it?
Anyways Raven *did* what they could to help out. With the release of the already planned SDK v2 there did not came the source code to v1.03 (the only patch released so far), but rather something called 1.03a, a tweaked and 'un-bugged' next 'patch'.
While this was a great gesture done by Raven this doesn't really fix it. Without gooing into to much detail I'll just state that a simple MOD cannot take over all of the duties a real patch should take care of...
The patch IS needed.... Most of the work has already been done with the SDK, there have to be some more tweaks and bugfixes (saber throw and kick less all-powerfull, fix the 'lost saber' issue and such stuff)... LucasArts, do you hear me? :-/
