The incredible (but did you expect anything else?) piece of artwork that serves as your Tales of Monkey Island cover has been revealed at PAX. It's at low-res, for now, but hopefully they'll put up a scan soon.

Steve Purcell, you rock.

    I'm not crazy about it. I was never a fan of that style of Guybrush. I wished he had kept to the realistic style of the first two posters... :(

    I agree. There's nothing special about it, plus it almost looks the same as the CMI box art. With a touch of the MI2 box art. I would have expected some fresh touch, but maybe they just had to hurry to have a poster they could pin up at their PAX booth. ;-)

    It looks half finished.. if Telltale had made this I wouldn't even comment but Purcell .. if you compare the first two covers this one looks like he did it in 20 minutes while sitting on the toilet.

    I would've made a Stinson there and put a "... wait for it..." instead of the "Read more."
