Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Spheres 12 Jan, 2009 / Comments: 9

The makers of the promising-looking Fate of Atlantis-style fangame Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth have today released... a different Indy game.

Entitled Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Spheres, the short game can be downloaded from the Barnett College website now. We'll update this news post with info on what this game actually is later today.

UPDATE: It's an adventure all right, albeit only one room - it's a slightly late (but very clever) Christmas joke!

Err, is the joke the part where you exit one room only to be returned to the main screen, then click Start (again), and you just sit there facing a black screen with the inventory underneath?

If yes, I don't get it. Bug, Christmas, Indy, Hindi.... I don't see the connection...

Haha! SURPRISE! We programmed it JUST. FOR. YOU.

(Nah, it's a good game. I just played it, it's worth a chuckle.)

It's very nice. Reminds me of Christmas Quest.

And Jones stays in character despite this being a bit of a joke.

It's a really original New Years greeting! :D

Nice surprise. Is this game as good as Fountain of Youth demo?

I know a way of finding out...

Yeah, but I have to wait until evening before I'll be able to play it.

Ditto, which is why I've no idea what it is! They mention a joke of some sort, so I don't think this is a serious adventure.
