The English version of Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island has been released on another digital distribution channel, this time The Adventure Shop US at a price of $29.99. Technically speaking, this is the first time the game has been officially published in the US, although it has been available worldwide for some time now. Avast!

    Yeah, this is a good game. The tech needs a little work, there's one puzzle in there that might make you want to murder a Buddhist monk and the writing is lacking, but it's 1. fun, 2. made with heart, 3. interesting. AME still have a way to go, but support them because they can make good games and will do so if given enough time.

    Just...get a good writer, guys. Someone who can really write dialogue, see how puzzles affect story and vice versa, and maybe even craft characters that don't have to laugh the way Queen Zimbi does. A good writer knows that you can use Morgan LeFlay's sword as a symbol of trust, for example, or Mona's music box as a connection to her childhood dreams...

    Anyways, good game, good game, and needs support.

    Finally! I've been dying to try this out but 30 euros was a little steep. When are mojo's reviews gonna be back up? I like just browsing through/ revisiting those.



    No ETA on that, but work is being done. Sorry I can't give you a better answer than that. :(

    Also, enjoy Ghost Pirates! It's quite good.
