Do you mean Gabriel Knight 3? Yes, the graphics WERE bad. And the idea for the story might have been great, but that doesn't excuse the porno-movie quality dialogue.

I can't see why I should trust a magazine which gave GB3 6. something. A fantastic plot, and the graphics weren't that bad either.

LucasArts buying reviews? I guess there has to be some reason something as terrible as EMI has gotten so many glowing reviews. There's no way GameSpot's guilty of that though, they really do have integrity. Besides, they didn't even give EMI a good review. The only reason it got a nomination for "Best Adventure" was by default. They had to choose five games when there were only something like four or five adventures released all year.

Hehe GameSpot.com choose for TLJ to be the best adventure of the year. And GameSpot.uk choose for EMI. You would almost think they made a deal to both choose on so both would win on one GameSpot hehe. :D

Actually because of their main source of income, advertising, that is not a bad conclusion. LA often buys full page adds in mags and bannerson sites, so most game reviewing sources give games several points higher than normal to grab the extra buck. Am I saying EMI got a good review mostly based on money? You Betcha!

Actually, I can completely accept Gamespot's choice, TLJ was an amazing adventure... However, EMI isn't crap either ;-) Both are great adventures, why can't we simply be happy and enjoy both games?

It doesn't surprise me. EMI was crap! Why would you even think it would win? Long live Funcom!

YEHAW, I agree! EMI was an absolute CRAP MI GAME. It screwed up the continuity so much I almost cried. Please Lucasarts Hire Ron Gilbert so he can make GOOD MI games now!

Sorry guys I only stated one side of my point. I admit EMI was a decent adventure game , just not a good MI game.
