Full Throttle: Out Of Stock 02 Mar, 2004 / Comments: 8

Yikes! I hadn't noticed this before, but Amazon.com is now listing Full Throttle as Out of Stock. The only copies available are used, for $25. If you've been meaning to get a copy, it sounds like getting reamed by used copy collectors prices are soon going to be the only way to go about doing it. If you happen to live in the US or Canada, you can still pick up Full Throttle in a jewel case from the LucasArts company store, fortunately.

I noticed the other day that Full Throttle has reappeared in actual, real, physical shops in the UK, in a nice DVD case. Presumably the updated edition... :)

I saw them (Sam n Max, Dott, Full Throttle, and Grim Fandango) in DVD cases at the local EBGames Store here long before the "Entertainment Pack" was released.

My bet they are not the updated. :/

UpYeah, I have that pack, and they are updated - they all work on Windows XP and come with pixel filters. Not quite as good ScummVM, but nevertheless a God send for Mr Joe Public. (Not meaning to be sexist or anything)

Well yes there are other shops that still have it, but the point is, if Amazon US has run out of stock and hasn't got a "more are on the way!" notice up, as they do when they've re-ordered things, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a sign that the other retailers are going to run out soon as well.

Isn't Activision the distributor in Europe? I have a feeling it'll stick around at places like amazon.co.uk .

    Full Throttle 2: Jewel Case!
Our new biker-hero, Average Customer Review, must find the four and a half Dragon Stars to revive Malcolm Corley. But unfortunately for out hero this item is currently out of stock and he must retrieve them from the manufacturer, or buy used: $12.95.
