Famed designer talks Walking Dead 26 Jul, 2011 / 5 comments

Some details about Telltale's upcoming The Walking Dead dead game have started trickling in, and some of them are actually sounding pretty promising.

Jake "Rodford" Rodkin recently talked to Joystiq, and while the whole story is worth reading, perhaps the most interesting part is that episodes will "be able to talk to each other":

Characters that die in one game in Episode 1 will stay dead, or if the player keeps them alive, they'll reappear in later episodes.

Pretty awesome. Now read it all.

Lucas Arts is "The Star Wars Company" and Tell Tale is the "Every Other IP We Didn't Come Up With Company".

They should do Pop Tarts, the point and click action adventure game next.

Just got season 1, ep 1 here in New Zealand.

    Intense!

You're talking about the TV show i assume ;)

I like the fact that the game will be different form the tv show, this way we can enjoy new stories. :-)

Let's hope it works better than "Michael Corleone"...

I had a few slip-ups in my Harry Callahan playthrough, for sure. A nifty trick, though!
