Yes, you heard me correct, its is set for a simultanious worldwide release on 16th October 2001.

The discs (yes, there are two of them!) will feature over 6 hours of extras and all 12 parts of Lynne's diaries that were featured on the Star Wars Website.

    There was too much demand from STAR WARS FANS and LucasFilm Finally gave in and its now out in the UK on October 15th, ONE DAY BEFORE THE US WAHOOOOO

    No, there are no plans as yet. Though Lucasfilm is releasing "Willow" soon, so perhaps other titles will follow.
