EMI is #3 in the UK! 03 Jul, 2001, 20:24 / 8 comments

As you may or may not know, LucasArts conducted a huge experiment when they released Escape From Monkey Island on the PlayStation 2, and it seems that it might be paying off. According to ChartTrack, EMI is the third best selling PlayStation 2 title in the UK. This is very good news, but does it mean that things will continue to go well? We'll just have to wait and see... and hope!

EMI for the PS2 doesn't seem to be shifting copies at all where I work, I have seen two copies bought in the past three days.

Hopefully. EMI entered the UK PC chart at number 4 (I think) and remained in the top ten until a few weeks past the Christmas period. With no Norton Antivirus to challenge it on the PS2, who knows how long it can hang in there?!
