Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler now on Steam! 07 Oct, 2016 / 1 comment

Avast! Two years ago it was but a humble Kickstarter pitch, and today it is a real life computer game. See, not all video game Kickstarters are scams just because ours will be! (There's nothing in the pipeline, but with Remi around it's a foregone conclusion.)

Backers received their Steam keys yesterday, but the rest of you can get it now for a measly $6.99. There is no reason to wait for my review, which is nevertheless coming shortly. Now go forth and help ensure the subsequent episodes get finished.

We probably love so much Bill and Adventure games, we are blinded. I'm so disappointed by this game. Puzzles are too linear and there are no items to grab! Almost nothing, the inventory is quite useless.
Background art is awesome but, I'm sorry, that's not enough.
Another problem (also present in TOMI) is the episodes format: this make the game too linear, without the possibility to explore different islands/environments at the same time.
Sigh, let's hope for improvements in the next eps.
