Double Fine Happy Action Theater has a release date 13 Jan, 2012 / 4 comments

And it is February 1st.

In other words, it is time to get that Kinect out of storage, as it look like this game could be fun. Joystiq has a good preview up of it.

I'd play it. I mean, I need a Kinect. And a 360. And to live in a country where I have access to console games. But I'd play it.

I should have amended said snarkism to reflect those caveats, actually. I would muck around with it in a heartbeat, but am pretty much thumbcuffed in the same sense.

So: "... making games that people who don't have kids/a Kinect/a console/a binding interest in casual or party games/would want to play..."

And Threepwood42: YES PLEASE A LOT LIKE THAT

Ah... cool. Cheers to it selling well with the casual crowd and Kinect-playing kiddies, so that DF might get back to, oh--you know--making games that the rest of us might want to play...

Like Ron Gilbert's new game :D
