Chuck Jordan joins Telltale 30 May, 2007 / Comments: 6

Back when the release of Abe Lincoln Must Die! was imminent, we learned that Chuck Jordan, writer/programmer on The Curse of Monkey Island, was contributing dialog on episodes 4-6 of Sam & Max: Season 1.

Now, as his blog reports, Jordan's work for Telltale will no longer be merely on a contractual basis. He now works for Telltale Games in a full-time position, adding yet another LucasArts alumni to the company's impressive team. He implies that he's working on the second season of Sam & Max, which is as unsurprising as it is awesome.

When you say "it is as unsurprising as it is awesome", do you mean that it isn't very suprising that Telltale is working on a S&M sequel, and Chuck Jordan being a writer isn't therefore awesome either?

Because I don't find it surprising that Telltale is working on a sequel...

Episode 4 was, for me, the episode that started a significant peak in the overall quality of the series. Coincidence? Probably :)

I think episode 4 was a turning point for a lot of reasons. It's been said though that episode 4 was where the majority of Jordan's contributions can be found.

That's really cool to hear because I'm on the second game right now and am enjoying them just fine.
