Brutal Legend Wii rumors continue to accumulate 04 Apr, 2009 / Comments: 7
Amidst the insane number of Brutal Legend previews (which are still being compiled below - check out the latest at Gamespot) are more rumors surrounding a potential Wii port. We've previously linked to a rumor at GoNintendo (which was since removed) claiming that a Wii version of Brutal Legend was in the works. The rumor just got a bit more credible as Variety's game blog is singing the same tune.
The report, which comes from "several good sources," says that a Wii version is being planned, though it will not be developed by Double Fine and will likely be released far later than the original versions for 360 and PS3. We'll see how this all pans out! For now, it's recommended that you catch up with all of those excellent previews.

At the very end of part two he says:
"Brutal Legend will come out this fall for Xbox360 and PS3..."
but then when the outro plays and picture is already gone you can hear him say: "I went on a up note like there was another thing I was going to say. But I didn't say anything."
From the sound of it he was grinning while he said that, that's why I think they cut out the picture. If it was just some silly little correction they wouldn't have edited that into the video I guess. Schafer also isn't the guy to say things like that w/o a reason.
Can't wait.
And no worries about your comments, Mojo does that sometimes. :)

I'm never going to own a PS3 or Xbox360, so as long as the port's story's intact (after all that's the best bit of Schafer game)... oh, and some semblance of playability/fun, I'll be bore than happy to have a toned-down graphical experience (and hopefully a funner control experience) on the family Wii.
It's still never been explicitly stated that a PC version isn't in the cards, though I have to say I'm really glad I've got a 360 (which I barely ever use) in case that doesn't happen.
