Big fat huge Cow Race trailer 25 Mar, 2006, 19:28 / 15 comments

As Jake points out, a trailer for The Great Cow Race, Telltale's latest cash cow, is up on filefront in a variety of sizes (large and small), so take your pick and give it a look, and then give it a second look, and then watch it over and over again, preferably until the cows come home. Holy cow is it great. It also does, in fact, feature cows so you might as well stop torturing yourself and download it before you have a cow.

    It certainly didn't help. And it also doesn't help that the bar for adventure game trailers was set so high with Grim Fandango.

    Yeah, I don't like the narrator either... same guy as did the Bone 1 trailer I think.

    Still, even though it doesn't match Grim Fandango, or maybe even EMI PS2, it's still pretty good as far as video game trailers go.

    The narrator was pretty cringe inducing. The animation on that big hairy armed guy sure is sweet, though.

    The trailer is 3x, 2x, 1x as big as the actual game to download?

    I think I'll wait and be surprised when I play it...

    Yeah, I recall. Just odd to be downloading a trailer that's way bigger than the actual game download.

    This time I'm shying away from the pre-release material (and also not reading the comic as I did last time) so as to approach the game fresh. :-)
