More crazy game rumors have been popping up, this time on the MILegend Forums, proclaiming the existence of a sequel to Maniac Mansion/DOTT. This image, scanned from some Ziff Davis magazine, says that there are Full Throttle and Maniac Mansion games headed for PS2 (and possibly other platforms) to be announced/released at an unkonwn time.

    Hey, this is from Quartermann? I'm not too familiar with him myself, other than I've heard that his rumours usually are based on real sources. He certainly was right about Silent Hill 3 at least.

    Why do you hate it? Don't have a PS2? It's times like this that makes me glad I bought 1000 and 1000 of video games stuff.:)

    GTA 1 and 2 got any initial fame they had (they were fun and popular but never "mainstream") on the PC. They take the series to PS2, market it cleverly, it gets good word of mouth, and becomes more than a best seller. It's now huge. I doubt the GTA fans who were loyal to the series on PC were happy to hear the news that it was going PS2 only at first.
