Acually, about 4 of the latest news on AD are about things that are not hosted by AD! So don't lie. :)

Hmmf. No offence, but Adventure developer is pretty lame. It only includes info on freeware companys hosted by adventuredeveloper. My friend submitted news of his new site (http://www.graphic-adventure.com, and the news wasn't posted up. If you want to become more popular Adventure Developer, you should add other people's news, not just yours.

Look, there isn't any bias towards our own hosted sites. plain and simple. We rely on stuff we dig up ourselves as well as submitted news. When your "friend" submitted his link (and i do remember the occassion)it was nothing more than a bunch of "coming soon" pages so i decided not to post it.

If I can draw your attention to our news section, of the last 10 news posts, 9 of them were from NON-AD-HOSTED-SITES.

Keep in mind that i really only have some time on the weekend to do this site, so if i get a news mail and i dont think its very important then i wont post it. and i probably wont go back and check it later, i simply dont have the time. If your friends site had some content at the time he posted the link, then maybe i would have posted it.

Also. your friend asked for hosting before for his game X, he even sent over those screenshots, and i agreed. But he never got back to me, and things fell through. Tough. as a side note however, things dont seem to have changed much on the status of that game since then (at least nothing thats been made public, so why is it that it was nessicary to paost about it?

and one more thing, saying the site is lame because i wouldnt post a link of your freind's is really narrow minded of you. i am under no obligation to post news about something i dont want to post about. Not to mention many people work on different features and etc... just to have you say what we do is lame because we didnt post one piece of news. Why do you think we have news@adventuredeveloper.com? for our health? and what if that mail had not gone through? then you would be basing your whole opinion of a site on a single isoloated incident.

No offense, but that's a pretty stupid thing to say. Mojo only posts newsworthy items, and AD is the same way.. If we don't feel your news tip is worthwhile or helpful, we don't post it. Myself, I have gotten several tips about things such as 'cool new' websites, and walkthroughs of games, but I'm not going to post that kind of stuff. The reason we don't post stuff about LEC-related fangames, just so you know, is that some of us don't care to tip off Lucasarts about another game to raid. It's common sense. We, as a network, are very close to Lucasarts, and we know that posting news about those projects could be fatal to the project. In short, unless we hate the game's creator, we won't post news about those kind of games. Oh, and if you want us to post news about YOUR game, feel free to ask Taxicab to add your site to his repitoire.
