You already know about the special edition of A Vampyre Story (still only confirmed for Germany) and were given a guesstimate of its contents, but a news post by Crimson Cow on the official site for the game gives the official list, while confirming the game's release on the 17th for Germany. Check out the complete list at The Pumpkin Post, but the main addition is the inclusion of a soundtrack disc, which is awesome. For Germany.

    Trouble is that amazon.de seems to have already sold the amount of copies they were promised by the publisher, since the game can no longer be ordered directly via Amazon.de, but only via Amazon marketplace.

    Unfortunately, amazon.de is about the only German online shop that ships to Luxembourg with pretty decent shipping costs. (Actually, with no shipping costs at all for orders above 20€.) Most other shops (including most marketplace sellers) ask ridiculous shipping costs of about 30€.

    I really hope that amazon.de will be granted more copies. I wish I had ordered the SE earlier, but it's the soundtrack CD that convinced me now.

    The only interesting thing here, for me anyways, is the soundtrack cd. Sadly that's not enough reason for me to shell out an extra ~£15 for the special edition.

    I'll stick with the regular version.

    If it turns out to be only for Germany, I'll just buy it from Amazon.de, seeing how it comes with English speech anyway. :)

    I don't know that Amazon.de ships to the US. In any event, I'm sure there will be ways, but there will be a premium attached to it.

    I am pretty sure they ship to the Netherlands though, which is a good thing, since that's where I live! :D
