Today the game was released on GamersGate for €39.99. It's a healthy 3.2 GB download so if you want to get it in a box instead, Play has already got it for just £14.99.

    I really enjoyed the game. Just finished a couple of minutes ago. It felt a little short but pretty good none the less. The backgrounds are stunning, the music is awesome and the story is nice. I felt like playing a good old real adventure game.
    The only problems I found were the bugs like blocks and occasional graphics glitches but nothing that would keep me from enjoying the game.
    Waiting eagerly for AVS II.

    Amazon have shipped my copy, so they're doing it too. And they're faster than Play, so I should have it Monday at the latest. Yay!

    Slightly premature, it doesn't come out until tomorrow and it's not in the US until December.

    The game was in fact available through digital download when Zaarin posted. I'm playing it right now in fact.

    (And holy shit the game's awesome.)

    And GamersGate even sent me the press release saying it was the download premiere of the game.

    Are places like Play actually shipping? Amazon hasn't done mine yet, and GAME are still saying Q1 2009.

    My advice is to stop worrying about the price and get downloading.. It's awesome! : )
    Oh and the Mona's voice isn't annoying and screechy like the demo.

    i think the €39.99 might possibly be an error? over here in canada it says $39.00...

    Im not currently up to date with exchange rate but im still pretty sure the euro is worth more than either the US or Canadian dollar

    €40/£30 is the usual price one has to pay for a game in Europe. It's been like that (if not more expensive than that) for as long as I can remember.

    I'm not Dutch, and don't have a Scottish nickname, and, although the '19EUR saved' does indeed sound very sexy, I also just totally ordered it through Play, mainly because it's fuss free & no postage. :D HIGH FIVE!
