During the years, was made a FIRST minidemo (only two rooms), that the author has released only to a few friends, and never published it. Therefore it is not available. Then he made ​​the video of the intro of the game, which was subsequently removed from the share. Finally, when fans feared that the project had now been abandoned, during the Christmas holidays of 2011, surprisingly, the author publishes a new official demo! At this point, fans are expecting this fangame will be finally realized! The author is Canadian, and in the French forums he reported his project with the title in French. So probably once made​​, the game will also have a version in French, too. The project is to "revive" the old atmosphere that created the success of Zak. In fact, the author's will is to redo the graphics and sound just as it was in the days of old Commodore 64 and the first PCs, including the GUI (graphical user interface) that LucasArts adopted at that time. Ideally, the plot jumps from "Zak 1" about 20 years later in time, and Zak's life has really changed in the meantime...
