GDC 2004: Tim Schafer on Memorable Character Design

Tim's hour long lecture from the 2004 Game Developers Conference, recorded by Gamasutra radio. The subject is character design, and Tim shares much insight on it thanks to the adventure games he worked on while at LucasArts as well as the (at the time) in-development Psychonauts, for which he famously made Friendster profiles of the camp kids.

Interestingly, this lecture was given very shortly before Microsoft dropped Psychonauts from their line-up. Tim ends the session by premiering a Psychonauts trailer that was never show publicly. Sounds cool, though.
