Wolfgang writes a blog, you possibly care

05 Oct, 2005, 20:39 | Posted by: Jason
If you've bothered to keep up with Germany-based adventure developer/publisher Bad Brain Entertainment since they failed to revive Sam & Max: Freelance Police and parted with Autumn Moon Entertainment, discontinuing production on their A Vampyre Story, you might have noticed the CEO blog among the site's new features. In it adventure game savior Wolfgang Kierdorf is in the process of writing a multiple part blog entry discussing the history of Bad Brain. So far he's revealed a few unnecessary details about his inital connection with Autumn Moon and his attempts to acquire the Sam & Max 2 code. Future tidbits may or may not be revealed in the next few entries, so keep an eye out if you've got nothing better to do.

Jesus Christ! He made up his entire in-house in-development games on the spot during The Inventory birthday chat!? Certainly puts the "invent" in "inventory"

I had recently thought I was being harsh when I compared him to David Brent all those months ago.

    But now...

its actually shaping up to be a semi-interesting read. its a little odd to be at the point for "Let's take a trip down memory lane" for a company just a year old...

but its shaping up to be that he's not so bad that he just 'dropped' vampyre story, and sam and max 2... he may have spoken too soon about having financing for games.

They should take pre-orders for Vampyre story... hopefully that would help generate a small amount of funds for awhile.

While I thought he was a bit of a dick and subsequently made some smart-ass comments about him in various places, I now think his heart's in the right place and there's no doubting his enthusiasm.

And the long period of silence coming out of BBE seems to indicate he's off quietly working away in the background rather than spouting off publically about all the amazing things they're up to or trying to do.

While several aspects of Orgastic Four make me roll my eyes, I'm still curious about it and will almost certainly buy it when it comes out. The art direction looks pretty good on the few screenshots I've seen.

Ijet though sounds extremely ambitious, I really don't know if it will actually work, but I really hope it does.

I think I retract the above comment.
