In what can only be described as Underpant-Wettingly Awesome News (unfortunately that's not a real category, so I just chose LucasArts News instead), website CartoonBrew has revealed that publisher Chronicle are going to be releasing Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts in December '08!

Here's a picture. Looks frickin' awesome doesn't it? There's loads of art just in that advert that I've not seen before!

    Holy smokes, an alternate concept by Steve Purcell for the MI2 cover art? Does he have that in his house too?

    I am also looking forward to the Lucas book - I worked there from 90-97, but KNOW THIS - they didnt interview and basically blew off the art department for this book. didnt talk to hardly anyone for it, only to get some art. Foolish.

    No heh, just my cousin. A friend of the groom worked at some place that designed a lot of books, including many "the art of..." books. I mentioned that I'd always wanted to see an Art of LucasArts book and he said weirdly enough they were in early phases of starting one. I don't know if thats the exact same project that this is, but apparently the idea's been swirling around for a while as of late.

    When are we going to see "Lucasarts Adventure Game Book: The Scumm of the Earth (Paperback)" by Bob Marley?

    Thats been out for 15 years and no one seems to have a copy. I wrote Prima Publishing and they don't have any copies from back then.
