Telltale announces another season of "Game of Thrones", Jason cheers, the rest of us really don't care 22 Nov, 2015 / 6 comments

I mean, good for those of you who like the stuff I guess, but for the rest of us… Something Fables related? Borderlands? Heaven forbid, Sam & God Damn Max?! But yes, Dinklage can add another notch to his belt I suppose.

    Jones Jr

I'm sure it'll be great. Any more news on Firewatch?

Firewatch now has a page on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/383870/

I'm not posting news about it yet, since you can't pre-order at the moment, but you can add it to your Steam wishlist. :)

It's not really a surprise. The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones were the only two series that Telltale ever announced a "multi-year, multi platform contract". They can make as many of these games as they want without having to renegotiate a new contract every time they want to make a new game.

That's not to say there won't be any more games from their other franchises (I'm sure no one expected Sam & Max to turn up in Poker Night 2), but they'll likely make many more games based on The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones in the meantime. Unless they get lucky with negotiating a contract for one of their yet-unannounced projects and get a multi-year, multi-platform contract for them as well, negotiating a new contract for any of their franchises could take many, many years.

Could be worse...could be a pre-emptive season 4 of walking dead announcement.

Station Agent is an awesome movie. Saw it for the first time last year just because of luck.

PS: I love the Dinklage, ever since the Station Agent.
