Today we have lost the director of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Let us all take a moment of silence to reflect upon the excellence that is that movie.

    Oddly enough, ESB was on last night... which prompted the usual inner grumblings about what RotJ would have been like,had Kershner returned to the director's chair.

    You could do a lot worse than being remembered as "the guy who most fans would argue made Star Wars better than it deserves to be," I think.
