Iron Brigade coming to PC!
07 Aug, 2012, 20:35 | Posted by: Zaarin | Source: Double Fine Action NewsDouble Fine has announced that Iron Brigade will finally be available for PC. The game is set to be released on Steam on August 13th and will include the DLC expansion Rise of the Martian Bear.
If you own an Xbox 360 and still haven't bought the game, know that it has been discounted to 800 MS points. The Iron Brigade t-shirt has also gone on sale over at the Double Fine Shop. For just $15.00 you can be as cool as sound designer Camden Stoddard pictured below.
What does everyone else think about this?

So when will Double Fine understand that "on Steam" doesn't mean "available on PC"? Put this on gog.com or any other civil platform, man!
....Pretty sure on Steam does mean on PC....Unless you're having some kind of country conflict.
It's actually pretty interesting. Among other things, it talks about Steve Dengler (the Dracogen-guy) being interested in funding Brütal Legend PC (just interested at this point, nothing more), Double Fine developing iOs and Free-to-play games,, and Double Fine publishing their games on their own website, like Telltale. There's more in the article, and it's a good read, so check it out.
Also, the Happy Action Theatre sequel has since been confirmed as 'Happy Action TV' in several sources (including a recent Backer update-mail) and in the most recent Idle Thumbs Chris Remo confirmed that it will be out in September.
Renenber when we had to wait 4 or 5 years for the next Double Fine game, and during that time they always seemed to go out of business? We're living in good times.
Pretty hardcore!

Brutal Legend PC port next, please Mr Schafer.
THIS! Btw, anyone knows if Iron Brigade is worth playing?
I think it's super-awesome, best played with friends though.

It's a bit generic, but fun enough in small doses. Worth playing, just not Double Fine's best.

Here's a good idea: they could replace all the licensed music with some cheaper pieces and release the game like that. Better that than nothing.
I doubt Tim would agree with that. The metal playlist they put together is a pretty important part of the experience.

I think it's going to take another unprecedented Kickstarter to pay for the music licensing.
