Grim Fandango PAX Panel 17 Aug, 2014 / 5 comments

Double Fine is going to be holding a panel at this year's Penny Arcade Expo, entitled Grim Fandango: Bringing the Dead Back to Life! The panel will be jam packed full of people who worked on the game, including creator Tim Schafer, artist Peter Chan, musician Peter McConnell, Double Fine Productions executive producer Matt Hansen and Sony’s Gio Corsi as moderator.

They will discuss development of both the original game and the new remastered version. They will also be unveiling a new development documentary episode from 2 Player Productions. If you are going to PAX this year, you won't want to miss the panel. It is happening on Saturday, August 30th at 4:30 in the Main Theater.

Off-topic, but anybody knows what happened to lucasforums.com?

Seems like Google's 8.8.8.8 DNS server dropped it. 8.8.4.4 still resolves it to 76.73.74.242, but that doesn't answer to pings.

    I certainly hope so.
I'm waiting for it to be released, so I can play the whole game and live the full experience.
I'd like to start using twitter again without any fear of spoilers.

The last backer video said they're hoping to have Act 2 out by the end of the year.

I wonder when are they going to release the second episode of the Broken Age? It was supposed to be released during the summer, but summer is already over. It's September in a few weeks.

Really hoping they will not mess up this remastering thing, trust is big in Tim & co.
