About a week ago, Bill posted on the A Vampyre Story Facebook page with this:

The game was on hold for a few good reasons, which I can't talk about - yet, but one of those possibilities fell through, so now I'm back working on it as of today.

"The game" must be A Vampyre Story: Year One, but what fell through? Will we ever know?

    So he's still making Year One? I'm not a fan of the idea, the original AVS ended on quite a cliffhanger, and a prequel wouldn't tell anything we don't know already. I guess he can't make AVS2 because he has some problems with the rights, but still...
    I'd probably still play it, I just hope it doesn't take 29 years to make it.

    I feel it's sort of sad--not to mention totally self-incriminating--that my first thought when reading this headline was: "Wait, AVS had a game coming out?"
